"We visit you guys every year, love the pizza, it's definately better than any local place we have here in town (Grand Rapids). “Overhearing other tourists talk about the food at Pizza Palace we went there for dinner and were not disappointed. It was very crowded when other eateries were not (a good sign). They made every effort to seat guests promptly. Our food was brought to us fairly quickly considering the crowd and was excellent especially the supreme pizza. The service was very good as well.”

Hey Mark,
Better late than never is what I say! But we (8 of us) did stop by on Wednesday after the Mackinac yacht race while we were getting ready for the sail back to Chicago and enjoyed a couple of 'Shipwrecks'. I can honestly say that it is the best pizza I have ever had; better than any in Chicago. I just wish I could have it more than once a year but that makes it even more special. We'll see you next year after the Mac. I have to tell you also that I have even thought about driving up there just for the pie but 8 hours each way has delayed my trip. :) Keep up the great food, I tell everyone about it.

My family and I were staying in Mackinaw City for a little under a week and after a disappointing expensive experience at another restaurant, we looked at Trip Advisor for a recommendation. Pizza Palace is number one for a reason. It's clean, it's well priced, you get great service and the food is excellent. For our family of 5 we had Garlic Bread sticks, a 12 and 14 inch pizza and it was plenty with some to spare. With drinks and a tip we ate for $55. The previous night we ate at Nonna Lisa's for twice the price and less than half of the quality. Get to the Pizza Palace before 5:00pm and you get 25% off your pizzas as well as great happy hour specials.

Had a nice pizza dinner here. It was so good, we went back the next day for lunch. Pizza was excellent and the make a nice Sangria. Prices are very reasonable, and a good choice for a bite in Mackinaw. Centrally located on the main shopping street.

Great pizza sauce and really good pepperoni. Clean atmosphere that is family friendly. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained, there are many viewing options on the TV's, and the bar is well stocked. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and professional.

Within one or two bites of our pizza my wife and I both commented on how much we liked the taste and overall quality of the ingredients. By the time we finished our meal I had made the declaration that Pizza Palace was now my new favorite place to order pizza. Long story short, before our honeymoon was over we passed through Mackinaw City again two times and each of these trips resulted in another jaunt to the Palace. I don’t think we will ever be able to be in the area again without stopping by at least once.

We ate lunch here, and it was really nice. They were very accomodating to our two small children, and the atmosphere was such that we didn't bother everyone else in the restaurant. It was very clean with lots of flat screen tvs with the game on. Everyone was very nice, and the pizza was really good. They also had "good" beer on tap for my husband, and Pepsi products for me, we almost went there again that same night for dinner.

My family and I are from Chicago, so we know pizza. Every year we come to Mackinaw and visit Pizza Palace because it is ALWAYS memorable. The food is absolutely great and this trip I found out why. Our waitress let us in on a little secret: everything is made FRESH there! Frozen food..not at this place!! My wife and I couldnt be more happy, being a manager in food sales in the past. I chose a bar burger which came with chips and my wife chose an individual pizza...we couldnt have asked for more.
Our server, who in fact served us last year was prompt, precise with our drinks and refills (they were packed!!) and made this experience great (not that its not great every year!) She had no problem making time to talk to us even though we knew she was busy. My wife loved her enthusiasm and her work ethic Also, what suprised us was that she knew alot about the town and her favorite places to go. Her grandparents own a fudge shop in town and encouraged us to go there because it is her favorite but told us to "taste" around, and she can bet we will be back to buy their fudge which I thought was a funny yet great idea. We ended up coming back and buying 100+ dollars of fudge for the whole family!
All in all, pizza palace has the best pizza in Mackinaw. The prices are a little high, but it is completely worth it to try home made pizza like that. The specials and whole atmosphere of music we grew up with will put you in a great mood when you walk out.
Thanks Pizza Palace for making us have a great vacation! We'll see you next year, unless you open one in Chicago!!!

A Great Place for Family, Fun, and Great Food
"this place was just remodeled and could be mistaken for a sports' bar, except it's more of a family fun spot. Great food, friendly service, and CLEAN (a must for my family). The pizza is the best I've ever had, but they have plenty of variety for my finnicky kids. It's really busy in summer, but worth the wait. "
